You must call or write to us to confirm this and return your schedule of insurance. Where this happens you will receive a proportionate refund of the premium paid for the unexpired portion of the period of cover less any agreed charges. The full annual premium must be paid if there has been a claim for the death/loss of your pet.</p> <p> If you cancel after 14 days from the start of your insurance, provided there have been no claims or incident likely to give rise to a claim, we will refund the unexpired portion of the period of cover. If a claim has been submitted or there has been an incident likely to give rise to a claim during the current period of insurance there will be no return of premium. </p> <p><strong>Death/Permanent loss</strong> <br> Death/permanent loss (referred as Total Loss)&nbsp;of the insured animal will result in the immediate&nbsp;cancellation of the contract&nbsp;and no refund&nbsp;of the annual&nbsp;premium will be allowed.</p> <p><strong>Claims Notification</strong> <br> In the event of a claim please telephone our dedicated claims team on 0844 335 1203, providing your client reference number, and we will direct you as to the steps you then need to take.</p> <p><strong>Complaints procedure</strong> <br> If you have cause for complaint please first contact&nbsp; our Customer Services Department on 0844 335 1024; or you can write to the Quality Manager, Kwik fit, 1000 Lakeside North Harbour, Western Road, Portsmouth PO6 3EN.<br /> If you remain dissatisfied with Kwik fit response or your complaint is about your insurer, you may write to the Head of Customer Care who will arrange for an investigation on behalf of the Chief Executive.
